my baby s 8 months old now, his birth weight is 4kg 50g but now he s only 7.2kg n he s not gaining weight so pls suggest me how to increase baby weight

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. if child is not gaining proper weight you need to consult your doctor to rule out the cause and most of the time it could be because of nutritional deficiencies like nutritionacl anemia andr some other factors like malabsorption any chronic disease like congenital heart disease or some chronic infection specially urine infection or worm infestation should be checked if required .

By six months your child should have been double the birth weight by 8 KG or something currency it is very less I would recommend you to consult a paediatric nutritionist once regarding the same she will be able to help you with the correct kind of Titan that you should follow for the childWrite Your Answer Here
