Q.
My 23 months baby is having loose potty once or twice daily from last 4 days. I have stopped giving him wheat products. please suggest me a medicine. Thanks

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 7 m old boy4 years agoA. get a stool examination done which will tell which type of problem the child is having because whether it is due to some type of infection or due to some type of in digestion will be clear kindly give ORS for every episode of loose motion and give simple diet made from rice dal and khichdi curd buttermilk apple banana and the natural probiotics from the curd will help in decreasing the loose motion and if it is not improving in one or two days then kindly meet your doctor. also you cannot give outside milk to the child and you cannot give cerelac also but you can continue to give breastfeeding if going on for next few days

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 11 m old boy4 years agoA. Hi mom Doing loose potty once or twice is very much normal. No need to worry about this. This can be due to teething. If ur baby is active and comfortable otherwise, passing out urine 6-8 times in a day, accepting feeds then no need to worry
