Q.

my 22month old responds to the sound of the door bell but doesn't respond to his name. what should i do? help

A. The sound that you talk about when you say TV sounds rhymes rhythms and house well these things are common because a child is listening to it every day right secondly when you call your child with different names do not know you’re calling them but if you still using one name and your child is not responding that either your child is not aware about it or there is some issue in understanding with your child so just to be on the safer side also check is your child making an eye contact and following your commands if that is happening then it is still okay otherwise you need to consult a child psychologist
