Q.
My 20 months old daughter is having severe runny nose and sneezing since last two days... giving her maxtra drops as she doesn't take syrup.... should I wait for some more days for symptoms to settle or see the doctor....? we all have cold and cough at home.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cold is a viral illness and symptoms could be sneezing, running nose, cough sore throat, nasal congestion and fever.
Treatment conssists of antihistamines antipyretics analgesics and decongestants .
steam indhalation would be beneficial .
Medicines like sinarest/wikoryl / Alex cold can be given in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
