Q.
My 20 days old baby always poops after every feed. is it common in newborns? besides this he had jaundice and now squirming a lot due to gas...he is on breastfeed. His birth weight was 2.5 kg and now he is 3 kg also doctor advised me to feed him every 2 hours. how can I make his weight increase and what is the weight a 2-3 week infant needs to reach after birth? How can I tackle his gas and poop problems ?

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician4 weeks agoA. dear mom. pooping after feeding is common and normal at all.. no need to worry about it. your babys weight gain is nice. just breast feed in 2 hourly and burp well post feeding
