Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age
then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months .
child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age .
just make the child comfortabl8e and do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly.
if the speech does not comes even by three years of age you need to con6sult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .
Shweta SathiyaMom of a 6 yr 8 m old boy4 years agoA. Hi. The scenario was same for my 2 yr 2 m son till he turned 2 yr 1 month. but I started to sing rhymes for him and after singing his favourite rhyme I stopped in between for easy words like eye, iyah iyah o et.al. Slowly he started to fill the word in rhymes. now he says answers to A for , B for etc.
try this.

As long as your baby is active and healthy, trying to respond and make an eye contact while speaking. If you are still concerned better consult your doctor for further assistance. Give your child a well balanced healthy diet and keep hydrated.
