Good Growth of the child is very important and for this most important is that child should take a healthy diet where its necessary to give a balance diet which should contain all the nutrition required. This is very important for building the immunity also.
Encourage for green vegetables fruits dairy products all kinds of dal and other protein containing food items like soyabean eggs etc.
Some nutritional deficiencies can be a cause for less appetite like iron deficiency which is most common.
Supplements like iron supplements and multivitamin with lysine like syp zincovit CL can bee givden for 1-2 months to increase the appetite.
Diet counselling is also very important .

Don’t Milk for the time being to the child is going to recreate diarrhoea otherwise apart from that also I would like to tell you on the second side try to focus on giving more of liquid diet to the child as of now once your child gains the entire strength then you shift to solid food again
