my 2 mt baby sleeps at night continuously for 5-6 hrs after taking feed should i wake her up to feed or let her sleep actually she is born underweight she is 3 kg in 2 months

A. hi parent if the urine output Is 6 to 8 times a day it indicates adequate milk intake feed on demand weight gain depends upon birth wiegth and maturity of the baby if the baby is active and feeding adequately don't worry about it

A. Yes, till atleast 4 months, you should feed the baby in the night. And for your vaby, it is all the way more important to feed in every 3-4 hours. As they are too small to ask for feed themselves, you have to make sure to feed in regular intervals. As milk is the only food they have, it is important to feed fully and frequently for healthy growth and development.
