Q.

My 2-month-old daughter refuses to breastfeed when she is awake. Whenever I try to feed her, she cries and pushes the breast away. However, at night, when she is sleepy or just waking up, she accepts the breast and feeds well. Why is this happening? What can I do to help my baby breastfeed properly, especially when she is awake?

A. Is it with a particular breast or with both of them as sometimes breast aversion is common in this age so try to comfort your child while feeding and if needed then u can consult your doc regarding the same as they can assist u
