Q.
my 2 month old baby tomorrow will be taking his 1st vaccination of 1.5 month what will be the side effects of it???? also he is on his medicine for colic (protectic) & gas (carmiside) can we give vaccine wit it?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. when fever comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain.
paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day.
you can also apply ice over the injection site.
if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel.
vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

U See once you get the vaccination done you can Ravi Naik you want to the area with the vaccination has been given to settle down the swelling and whether there is fever or no fever if there is pain or the child is crying then you can give paracetamol to the child every six hours if
