Q.

my 2.1 year old boy weighs 10.5 kg. please suggest weight gain foods. he eats everything. considering his birth weight which was 1.5kg dr say it's good growth.

A. yes adequate Weight gain After age of 1 year it is important to follow the following points and the maximum milk you can give per day is 500 ml. you have to give at least One Katori of rice product 1 Katori of Dal product 1 Katori of wheat product and 1 Katori of vegetable everyday to the child and at least two fruits every day to the child. you can make anything any recipe from cereals pulses vegetable milk and fruits and by giving this daily you will be providing adequate nutrition to the child you can add ghee groundnuts dryfruits in the diet and this will help in improving the weight of the child

A. Hello dear parent! A little plus or minus in weight is normal as long as your child is active and healthy, reaching milestones. Include all food groups in your child’s diet that is staple in your family. Consult your child’s doctor for evaluation and advice. Good luck and take care.
