my 1yr 7 months baby is suffering from cold and cough from last 3 days n she is refusing to eat anything due to that so what food i can give to my baby

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. it is very common that during the disease process the child will have loss of appetite as well as after the disease the child will have decreased appetite for food and this will last for at least one weesk. you have to provide plenty of water to drink and you can give food rich in fluids as well as juice extracted from fruits which wdill help in improving the appetite. if if the child is having nutritional deficiency the doctor will add multivitamin supplements to increase the appetite.

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 3 m old girl3 years agoA. hi give food items like soup , coconut water , etc which can help to increase your child apetite you can encourage your child by giving finger food like variety of fruits. try to give small and frequent meal but do not force feed your child

Teething Could be happening with your child as that is one of the biggest reasons to have suppress appetite for a child and if that is not the case then maybe your child may be low on deficiency what I’m saying deficiency of iron so that could be one of the reasons as well
