My 15 months old son is suffering from cold cough from last one week. we are giving t-minic drops and regular oil massage on chest. also using otrivin nazal drops. Running nose has reduced but still congestion is there. Can you suggest any cough depressant or anti allergic. No fever

A. not without examination. baby is having cold cough and fever then it can be due to viral infection you need to give him steam inhalation indirectly to times in the day and also keep him well hydrated .consult with your doctor near by who will examine the baby and guide you with appropriate medications in their proper dose. Viral fever can last from 3-5 days so you need to to give the prescribed medications for this duration at least and if it is persistent beyond you need to go for the investigation as per the advice of the doctor
