My 15 month old baby having very small cavity .doctor used fluoride varnish, I was asked is it safe he said it’s safe.Is it safe below 2 yrs?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. yes it's safe. it is important to follow the instructions opinion advice and medicines course given by your doctor for the problem . they are safe if given by registered medical practitioner. do not take medicines not prescribed by the doctor . take a follow up in few days if it is not improving for need of treatment modification or any lab / radiological investigations.

If your dentist is advising you something it would be safe only normally we do not advise you to even use fluoride toothpaste for the child and such a small age but if your doctor has done a procedure and they would have a better knowledge about it rather than getting it extracted or feeling with you know something I think it would be a better procedure to follow
