Q.
my 14 month old baby is having fever of 100-102f, but no other symptoms......we are giving her paracetamol. now she is well but not eating anything just want breast feed. am worried about my baby because she loves to eating everything but now she is just on breast feed , hope her tummy is full. now you tell me what should i do?

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. it's fine, give plenty of breast feeding. Loss of appetite is normal for a child after fever and any illness. Its important that she drinks plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration.

Apart from the breastfeeding that you are giving were giving other liquid as well juices of roots buttermilk coconut water this is going to at least provide some strength to the body of the child and I can completely understand that this is a very normal behaviour of a baby
