Q.
my 13th month old daughter always catches cold and cough easily. it's very tiring for me to always wipe her nose. she has lots of phelgm stored in her chest.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expggectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fevetr is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children2 years agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and it is due to loose immune system and please give baby giloy juice and tulsi drops in winter and also massage on baby chest with Luke warm mustard oil.
