Q.

my 10.5 month baby got 101.8 fever,..when consulted with doctor he said throat infection and prescribed clamp kid forte.. he s on that medication from 4 days.. he hasn't eaten anything since then, but ly drinks little breast milk.. now he got cough and running nose too.. please suggest

A. continue the medicine given whether doctor and give febrex plus syrup 5ml 3 times a day Cold and cough in the babies are because of viral infections which will take at least five to six days time to subside it is advisable to do steam inhalation frequently to liquefy the secretions as well put nasoclear saline drops in the nose of the baby
