A. it is very important to give all types of food made from cereals (rice wheat and other) pulses (dal) vegetable milk and fruits to the child and this will only help in increasing the growth weight height immunity of the child. you can go for any recipes and flavours and taste according to the the preference of the child. start with small quantity and gradually increase the quantity. you can go for different colour plates as well as different size plates to make eating more attractive. also it is very important to rule out nutritional deficiency in your child dbecause that is one of the most common cause of loss of appetite in the child. you can add gheed and dry fruits powder to the diet to make it more calorie rich.

A. Zinc Deficiency One of the major constituents that are necessary for the stomach to digest the food is hydrochloric acid. This also helps trigger the feeling of hunger. Zinc is primarily responsible for the production of this acid. So, if your child has a low appetite, there might be a possibility of him suffering from zinc deficiency. This can be easily set back in balance by tweaking the diet. The inclusion of chicken, cashew nuts, wheat bran, pumpkin seeds, and other items that are rich in zinc can help bring the levels back to normal.
