Q.
My 1 month old baby has not done stool for last 5 days but farts foul smell which is surprising for us as the smell is very foul. Can I use glycerine to pass the stool. Along with that our baby sleeps on lap and shoulders but wakes up when put on bed. Need your guidance for the both the issues.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. 1 month baby not passing stool properly There is no need to use any medicines for constipation in babies below the age of 6 months a baby can go without passing stool even after 8 to 10 days also it is common in babies of this age
