Q.
my 1.5 yr old boy was playing with medicine with his grandpa..and he suddenly open thyroid tablet..my FIL was unaware abt it .i saw a tablet in his hand..he is saying tht he ate tht tablet..m confused..what to do? what are the effects? its been almost 3 hrs after this incidence...n he is not showing any doubtful symptoms

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. wait n watch ok.See when baby has any new complain then better avoid any self medication. Show to a doctor for right and timely diagnosis and treatment. Thays a safe procedure.

If Your child is showing no sign of discomfort then don’t worry about it but just monitor your child for a 24 to 48 hours if at any point of time you feel that your child is behaving odd or not right then you should immediately be consulting your doctor otherwise there is no need
