A. In a nutshell, Caladryl is an over-the-counter lotion used to treat a variety of skin conditions such as poison ivy rash, sunburn, and eczema. Caladryl's active ingredient is pramoxine calamine, which can help relieve pain, itching, and swelling caused by skin irritation.
