mh newborn baby of 1 month sleeps only 11-12 hours in whole day. Is it normal ?

Author of questionMom of a 4 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. Doc, he remains awake for 3-4 hours at a stretch 2 times a day..and that time it's impossible for us to make him sleep. How much sleep is normal for a 31 days old baby ? he is exclusively breast fed.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. it s. less for baby. good sleep is a must for baby brain development . You can ensure baby should be fed well at bedtime and also temperature should be comfortable around the baby . Make baby wear comfortable clothes while sleeping and can rock pat or sing a lullaby for the baby .
