Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .g
As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .
Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex coldn can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

You can put nasal drops into the nose of the child that is going to help in opening of the nose blockage and you can put a pillow under the head of the child because ahead is going to be elevated that way the child will sleep properly and for coughing you can just go ahead with any basic medicine for the child
