Mam there could be ample of problems to name some could be dry scalp it could probably be dandruff if it could be unhealthy scalp poor food hyper deficiency of iron and multivitamins in the body not taking proper care of the hair sometimes kids have lies in their hair so I can give you so many reasons but what exactly it is that your doctor can confirm after examining the child
