Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. they are respiratory secretions which is present in the narrow respiratory tract of the child.
the sound of ghar... ghar.. is present when air passes over these secretions in the narrow respiratory tract.
if the respiratory rate of the child is within normal limits and the child is not having any other complaints do not worry about the sound which is present due to respiratory secretions.
if you feel that the child is having some difficultyx in breathing you can always give nasal saline drops in the nasal cavity which will wash away the mucus present in the nasal cavity as well as the respiratory tract.
the problem improve withd increasing age of the child when there is broadening of the respiratory tract .
POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. Warm a bit of mustard oil and add some rock salt to it. A teaspoon of the salt is what is recommended. Once the mixture is warm enough to apply on the baby’s body, you can slowly massage his chest, back, and feet with this. It is suggested that you also cover the same with a cotton cloth, so that it can provide the required warmth for the baby to feel fine
