Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a home remedy steam inhalatiohn would be very usefgul .
Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

if child is getting it very frequently,it could be result of low immunity or allergy to something like dust or pollen etc
please keep your child well hydrated
give Luke warm water with pinch of salt and two drops of ghee in 2 tbsp quantity every 2 hours
give sunlight atleast 20 minutes a day
