Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. nasal saline drops can be given again and again to the child because it is salt water which will help in decreasing the nasal blockage by clearing the mucus try to prevent temperature variations around the child which is the most common cause of cough and cold in small children.can give indirect steam inshalation . anti-cold medicines at this age have got side effects so can be given only after medical consultation. You can also rub Vicks Vaporub on baby clothes near chest area.
. yellow discharge in eyes in new borns are because of block tear ducts.. press the nose and eyes joint area, strong pinch, do 4-5times.. it could be because of cold weather conditions, you can apply warm mustard oil on baby chest back feet at bed time.. maintain hygiene.. use wet cotton ball dip in Luke warm water.. to clean..Thanks and take care
