Mere bachhe ko kuch din se temperature 99.5 to 98.9 bana raha h. Body touch karne me normal h But hand n forehead garm h. Dr bole h ki 100 se upar pe dawa de But 100 nhi ho tha h One week se same pattern h Kuch samjh me nhi aa tha h q ho raha h Bahut pareshaan hun Plz sir clear kariye plz

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Fever is a reaction of the body to different pyrogens released during any Infection. Usually temp more than 99 F is taken as fever . Mostly in children fever is because of viral infections like flu or RSV where the fever is there for 4-5 days but may persist even upto 2 weeks . Initially antipyretic like paragfcetamol is given in a dose of 15 mg / kg/ dose. Can be repeated after 4-6 hrs if needed . Lukewarm sponge bath can be given as home remedy to decrease fever. Adequate fluid intake is also beneficial. Urine output monitoring is necessary to avoid dehydration .

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 2 m old girl1 Year agoA. 99.5 is actually fever only so if it is happening every day you may as well check with your doctor maybe this is just a viral infection or something the doctor would be able to help you why this is happening and if there is any kind of a particular particular medication you need to give to issue that is there
