Use of Nipple Shield: If your nipples are small or flat, then get a Nipple Shield from the doctor or pharmacy and try feeding by placing it on the nipple, the baby will easily get a grip. Try different positions: Sometimes your baby is uncomfortable in a particular position. Try changing your position or breastfeeding while he or she is sleeping.

It is important to maintain a good skin to skin contact while you latch your baby directly. It is advisable to consult a lactation specialist for a proper guidance in this regard.
