A. Dear mum, weight of 6 kg is a normal weight for 5 months old baby, do not worry. For healthy weight gain, you should exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete. After 6 months, you should introduce top food. You can begin with foods like porridge, kheer, homemade cerelac, fruit purée. Then dal rice with vegetables, khichadi, curd. Later mashed paneer. Add ghee to every meal and squeeze lemon wherever possible. Beginning with 3-4 teaspoons, give top food 2 to 3 times a day and up to half katori every time. Continue to breastfeed:

A. Hello mom Baby weight should be triple in a year according to birth weight and after one year baby gain weight slowly. According to baby’s age baby weight is totally fine baby should be totally on mother’s milk and there is no need to give anything else to your baby till baby turned six months old
