Q.

mam ,i am a mother of 15 months old girl and 1 1/2 month old boy . i got two ceserians . what should I include in my daily diet for weight loss and for lactation .pls suggest.

A. Dear mum, you should have a balanced diet having variety of food groups. Include seasonal fruits and vegetables. Foods like methi, green leafy vegetables, tree gum or gond, dill leaves or shepu, garden cress seeds, saunth, garlic intake can help increase milk supply. Have lots of fluids and water. Have lean proteins like eggs, beans, pulses, low fat milk and milk products. Have healthy fats from almonds, flaxseeds. Avoid junk foods.
