loose motions during 8 months of pregnancy

A. Loose motion or diarrhea during pregnancy, especially at 8 months, can be caused by several factors, including hormonal changes, dietary changes, infections, or stress. However, it's important to approach it with caution as it can lead to dehydration, which is not ideal during pregnancy. Here are a few things you can do: Stay Hydrated: Ensure you're drinking plenty of fluids like water, oral rehydration solution (ORS), or clear broths to avoid dehydration. Dehydration can be harmful to both you and the baby. Eat a Bland Diet: Stick to a bland diet like the BRAT diet (bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast) to help soothe your digestive system. Avoid spicy, greasy, or heavy foods that can irritate your stomach. Rest: Take it easy and rest to allow your body to recover. Monitor Symptoms: If the loose motion continues for more than 24 hours, or if you're experiencing severe abdominal pain, fever, or blood in your stool, consult with your healthcare provider immediately. Your doctor might recommend medications that are safe during pregnancy to help manage the symptoms. Always check with your healthcare provider before taking any medicine during pregnancy.
