Q.

last night at about 1 AM, my 14 month old suddenly started crying a lot without opening his eyes. After some time, he opened his eyes and still cried. We had given him colicaid assuming if he had any stomachache but all in vain. Still he cried more. What could be the reason? Can anyone suggest

A. it is common for children to cry in their sleep. this could be due to a variety of reasons, such as nightmares, teething pain, or simply a need for comfort. it is important to provide reassurance and comfordt to the child if they wake up crying. if the crying persists or is accompanied by other symptoms, it may be a good idea to consult with a pediatrician to rule out any underlying issues. d
