its necessary to give water after 6 months?

A. may start.Water should be limited to 30 ml max per day. It can be given after a meal. If the baby is breastfed on demand, water can be skipped. However a few sips can be offered for oral hygiene.

A. From 6 months of age, you can give your baby small amounts of water, if needed, in addition to their breastmilk or formula feeds.
