Q.

it's been more than 20 days since this boil due to the vaccination at birth appeared. it has not completely healed yet. is it normal or do we need to do something about it?

A. you're right doctor, the boil has burst and released pus 2-3 times. I was worried about why it's still not healing. my baby doesn't seem to have pain or fever though. will it release more pus to heal?

A. bcg vaccination which is given at birth in the upper arm will form a swelling by one or maximum two months and then it will burst open and thenx pus will come out from it and after that it will become a scar mark. you have to take medical consultation if it days causing pain fever and discomfort to the child. also if the pus discharge is increasing or aggravating again you xhave to meet the doctor and locally you can apply t bact cream.

A. Betadine you can apply that is going to be quite helpful for your child as of now these things usually happen after a BCG vaccination this is extremely common supply this and this is going to settle down over the period on its own only to very common thing to happen
