meningococcal vaccine is an optional vaccine. it is usually given either at 9 months of age and one year of age as a a 2 dosage regimen or you can go for a single dosage after two years of age.
your doctor is the best person to tell you whether it is required by your child or not.
my personal advice would be that if you can afford the vaccine you should get the child vaccinated for any disease for which vaccine is available

Nope I have not heard of any such vaccination so I do not think so because there is no assurance that the fever is not going to go to the brain or every time it is going to go to the brain so there is no cure or controlled do that as far as I know if you want you should take an advice from you paediatrician because I never got such a vaccination for my child
