A. Yes it’s perfectly safe to use cotton underpants and fabrics instead of diapers. It would prevent rashes. However the baby may become cranky due to wetness. You can switch to diapers during night time as the baby’s sleep would not get disturbed due to wet cotton pants and he will tend to have a sound sleep.
