is it ok to give feeding while the new born having hiccups

PallaviMom of a 7 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. hello....It happens to most babies...but it's is recommended that taking a break from feeding to burp the baby is good ..sucking on a pacifier may help with a baby's hiccupping....when the stomach fills with air, it may push on the diaphragm, causing hiccups..taking a break from feeding to burp the baby may reduce the amount of air in their stomach. ...this can help in prevent hiccups.
