Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. there is no problem if the child is sleeping on the side or the child is sleeping on the tummy.
(one important point that has to be taken care of is that the child should be made to sleep on the tummy only under observation).
when the neck holding becomes proper than you can leave the child in tummy position without any observation.
the important thing is that if the child is not having any difficulty in breathing as well as respiration and digestion problem then you can continue to letx the child sleep as well as give feeding in this position.
but if you feel that the child is having regular coughing as well as breathing difficulty then you have to change the position of the child

Yes that’s okay but make sure the child is not always sleeping in one portion suppose if the child is comfortable sleeping in left that’s not good all the time because when the child sleeps on a particular side the head may become flat so to avoid that it’s important that you keep changing the sizes for your child
