Q.
Is it normal if some times baby of 5 months doesn't poo for more than 20hrs??

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months . you can givche bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk gshould be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 2 m old girl1 Year agoA. A child can go without pooping for 7 to 10 days also so it’s not considered a problem in this age if the child is taking all the feeds properly showing no sign of discomfort and urine output is good for the child and it is definitely not a problem
