Is it normal for 2 month old baby to get double of birth weight? Any health issues?

ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist2 years agoA. Hello mom that varies mostly seen in babies who are formula fed. as that has a tendency to cause obesity in them as well. babies are expected to monthly gain in the range of 300 gm to 1 kg and by the age of 4 to 6 months they double their birth weight

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy2 years agoA. Babies tend to gain weight fast and then slow down. In the first few months, babies gain about 1 ounce (28 grams) a day. That slows at around 4 months to about 20 grams a day. As they turn 6 months old, many babies are gaining about 10 grams or less a day.
