Is it normal for 2 month old baby to get double of birth weight? Any health issues?

A. Hello mom that varies mostly seen in babies who are formula fed. as that has a tendency to cause obesity in them as well. babies are expected to monthly gain in the range of 300 gm to 1 kg and by the age of 4 to 6 months they double their birth weight

A. Babies tend to gain weight fast and then slow down. In the first few months, babies gain about 1 ounce (28 grams) a day. That slows at around 4 months to about 20 grams a day. As they turn 6 months old, many babies are gaining about 10 grams or less a day.
