Is it necessary to wake a four months old baby in the middle of the night for feeding who sleep at 11 pm and wake at 6 am

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 2 years agoA. yes you need to wake your baby atleast once in between for feeding . such long gap is not good . as only breastfeeding or formula feed is the source of nutrition and hydration to the baby

That's because most 4-month-old babies have reached that magic weight of 11 to 14 pounds, which means they don't metabolically need a nighttime feeding.
