Is it necessary to do pap smear test after delivery? what is the ideal time to do the test?

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. well yes you can do a paps dmewt smear. you have to do after six weeks only. better to show to a specialist and get the right opinion as soon as you can.

This is because the level and quality of hormones around the cervix before the 12 week mark could cause an unreliable test even a false negative. Consult with your doctor once regarding the same.
