POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. If you are affordable you can go. Government is providing as of now vaccination against 11 vaccine preventable diseases like tuberculous meningitis, polio, Hepatitis B, H. influenza, Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Rota virus, Measles, Rubella, Japanese encephalitis. Vaccines are stored in ILR (ice lined refrigerator) and the temperature is meticulously monitored throughout the day at government hospitals. Few vaccines not available are like for pneumonia, typhoid, flu vaccine, chicken pox etc… In government hospitals only multi dose vaccines will be available, i.e if it is opened it can be used for 10 children at the same time so that only the name of the vaccine be mentioned in MCP (maternal and child protection) card whereas in Pvt hospitals you get single dose vaccines exclusively for your kid and they tear apart the details of the vaccine given upon the vaccine vial/ ampoule and paste it in your kid's vaccination card. Anyway the effect of the vaccines is going to be the same.
