flu vaccine also known as influenza vaccine is very important for decreasing the chances of viral infection by at least 60% in your child.
the first dosage is given at the end of 6 months and the second dosage at the end of 7 months and then every year till completion of 7 years of age.
previously it was an optional vaccine but now it is considered as an important vaccine for children.
flu vaccine can be started at any age.
best time for flu vaccine is usually just before rainy season on set
typhoid vaccine can be given anytime after completion of 6 months of age of the child. as per the new guidelines you have to give only one dosage for typhoid conjugate vaccine.
the other typhoid vaccine is known as typhoid polysaccharide vaccine and it is given after 2 years of age and is repeated every 3 yearly. in the present scenario it is advisable to go for only typhoid conjugate vaccine.
