is 98.8 temperature in armpit consider as a fever in one year old child?my baby is one year old and she has temperature like 98.8 ( without adding plus one) in armpit

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. No. it's normal.. A normal temperature in babies and children is about 36.4C (97.5F), but this can vary slightly. A fever is usually considered to be a temperature of 38C (100.4F) or above. hope this will help u.
