Should we consider 98.7 f as fever in 5year old? Should we add one degree for armpit temperature? How to take temperature with forehead thermometer

A. hi, 98.7 F is not fever, best to measure aempit temperature A normal temperature in babies and children is about 36.4C (97.5F), but this can vary slightly. A fever is usually considered to be a temperature of 38C (100.4F) or above.
