Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Influenza vaccine or the flu vaccine is basically a vaccine which protects against different strains of flu viruses including swine Flu virus which causes symptoms specially in children because of less immunity.
Though it is not a mandatory vaccine but it should be given to every child to protect against different flu infection which is very common every year . this vaccine is givehhjn after 6 months of age and initially two doses are given one month apart then every year single dose is required .
It is not documented but still studies suggest that to some extent it may give partial protection against covid infection .

It is not a mandatory vaccination it is completely optional it can be easily give an appeal the age of 6 to 7 years it is good to protect the child from different infections which are spreading a quite a lot is there so if you want you can get it done there is no harm in that
