ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist2 years agoA. Hello mam, the first trimester the weight gain is about 3 kgs and and 2nd trimester is between 3 to 5 kgs and 3rd trimester 2 to 4 kgs so total of 10 to 12 to maximum 15 kgs.
calories intake 1st trimester would be 10 Kcal /day
2nd trimester - 90 kcal./day and 3rd trimester - 200 Kcal/day
do go on walks would be helpful , also foods, take small meals through out the day and keep your self hydrated with fluids, and prefer home cooked and fresh foods, avoid packaged foods, and refined foods, also remember to avoid papaya , pineapple, MSG throughout the pregnancy.
