if the infant is not doing stool its done after 3-4 Days and he is update and getting irritation what should i do

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months .
you can greive bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .

This is totally fine. Sometimes babies don’t pass stool for more than seven days and it is also considered normal. This is because babies are totally on mother’s milk and there is very less waste left in their stomach to poop out. And this is the main reason they don’t pass the stool for many days.
